Egyptian Workers in Jordan

Egyptians flow into Jordan by the thousands to find work. They are paid dirt cheap salaries, and are expected to work from sunup to sundown. Yet again, given all of the hardships, these men still invited me over for some tea and bread. I'm finding out there's nothing better than the Arab hospitality.

Speak the truth amigo. Anyone who has ever stood in the passport line in Nuwiebah (Sinai) waiting to come over to Jordon by Ferry knows how right you are. Stiffled by "He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named's" 24 years of emergency law & Zero economic development, you would want to leave too. Now if just a little of that Egyptian charm would rub off on the Jordanians...

Amigo, Jordanians have great hospitality. Especially the Bedouins.

Try visiting them in Ramadan. (as close to iftar time as possible, otherwise they might make you eat at gunpoint)
